Dr. Bolden is proficient in many aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with high honors from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Bolden completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he received specialized training in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including the da Vinci® robotic surgical system. While at Duke, he received several excellence in patient care and top resident performer awards. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Bolden provides a full array of obstetric and gynecologic care. His clinical care interests include teen pregnancy, vaginal birth after cesarean delivery, management of cervical cytology abnormalities (abnormal Pap smears), operative hysteroscopy, advanced operative laparoscopy (including robotic surgery), endometriosis treatment and alternatives to hysterectomy (including endometrial ablation).
