The South Bend Clinic will offer free skin cancer screenings at their Ironwood location for patients who do not have a dermatologist.
Dr. Todd Rozycki along with April Rasnic, Nurse Practioner, and Duane Wampler, Physician Assistant, will offer screenings on Saturday, May 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The South Bend Clinic Ironwood, 2102 E. Inwood Road, South Bend.
Appointments for the free screenings are for new dermatology patients only and can be made by calling 574-204-6000.
Current estimates are that 1 in 5 Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. “Screenings are excellent ways of early detection and ways to improve outcomes for patients says Dr. Todd Rozycki board certified physician.
The screenings are sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology as part of a national campaign to encourage early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer. Education materials from the Academy will be provided to all participants.
