My goal is to provide objective high value care to both adults and children struggling with various immunological and allergy related conditions who are seeking evidence based medicine guidance. I like spending time with my patients creating a clinical picture during history taking where patients describe symptoms rather than already established or suspected diagnosis for their presentation, impact of symptoms on quality of life and we work as a team to conclude possible explanation for those symptoms, diagnostic work up, treatment options and prognosis for such conditions.

"This feedback is not for the nurse/MA (who was fantastic and very engaged) but the physician. Dr. Aleem. Although obviously knowledgeable, he was often dismissive, interrupted us while speaking, did not go deep enough to determine/exclude a diagnosis. He also did not seem to really listen. He rushed through questions, spoke over us, dismissed things as unimportant that were concerns for us, and it was, at times, hard to follow the conversation because of the pace. He really needs to slow down, listen, and let patients speak. He also needs to fully address concerns without being dismissive. It comes off as rude and condescending. I understand he wants to focus on objective data points for diagnosis but context and history is important and he barely addressed that, which I found problematic."
