Flu season is from September through March, and we encourage everyone in your family, aged 6 months and older — including pregnant women — to receive the flu vaccine during this time.
Who Should Get a Flu Shot?
The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older. Pregnant women should also receive the vaccine. For those aged 65 or older, we suggest opting for the high-dose flu vaccine for extra protection.
Flu Shots at SBC Primary Care Clinics
Flu shots are available by appointment at multiple locations throughout Michiana. If you have an upcoming wellness or primary care appointment, your provider will offer you the flu shot during your visit.
If you don’t have an appointment, you can still schedule a flu shot at our primary care clinics or walk-in allergy clinic.
